Audio Streaming Input / Output (ASIO) Support

ASIO is a technical audio standard that allows applications like QuuxPlayer to communicate directly with your sound card hardware. This is often used in professional-grade applications which require low-latency performance, and it also enables high-resolution (24-bit) audio bit depth for increased fidelity.

To enable ASIO output, go to the Options and then More Options... menu selection, and choose your ASIO device from the Specify a sound output device list. If you do not have an ASIO compliant driver, you can find a good (and free) general-purpose driver at ASIO4All.
