Tell your friends about FREE QuuxPlayer! QuuxPlayer Features: Tag EditorEach of the music files you have contains tags which tell your music player the title, album, artist, genre, and other information about that track. Sometimes though, the tags aren't quite right -- they might have misspellings, or be missing details. QuuxPlayer makes it quick and easy to fix these problems on the spot. Single Track ModeIf you select a single track and then choose Edit Tags for Selected Tracks from the Edit menu (or just hit Shift-Enter on the keyboard), you will see the tag editing panel appear on the lower part of the track list: You can change any of the tags shown, or rename the file. You can also use the image controls on the right to change the album art shown when a track plays. Click the Load button, or drag and drop, or copy paste to embed the artwork within your music file. Uncheck the checkbox next to the picture to prevent writing the image to the file. When you're done, click Save, or if you want to move to the next or previous track on the list, click the Next or Previous button. This will save your changes and then advance to the corresponding track. Multi-Track ModeIf you select more than one file at a time you will see multi-track mode displayed, which will include checkboxes so you can explicitly indicate which tags you want to change. All of the selected files will then have those values for the tag. If you choose to rename your files, the file rename selection will choose the name of the file based on the pattern you indicate. Any tag that currently has different values among the selected tracks will be shown as Multiple Vaues. Also, you can click the Auto Num... button to show a screen that will automatically number the selected tracks starting with a given number:
All in all, QuuxPlayer makes it easy to tag your tracks but stays out of the way when you're more interested in listening to your music. © 2009 Quux Software, Pacifica, California, USA. Contact Us. |
